SEA TROUT FISHING....SOUTH UIST

loch roag a truly memorable day afloat on the loch the north shore line produced most of the fish however we seen fish all over the loch and I mean all over it! first hour was frantic with action....after that the wind direction changed and switched the fish right off....however the last drift of the day....all hell broke loose! a sea trout just nudging over 4lb. best fly was a variant of a clan goat muddler(blue deer hair head) but a chartreuse goats toe also done well. a fantastic day spent on the islands notoriously difficult migratory lochs
