1950s WEDDING

My Parent's 1950s wedding in Chicago. This was an elaborate wedding for a working class family. I think my grandfather wanted to do something special for his only child. This is a montage of photos from the wedding, including formal wedding photos, candid shots outside the church, reception party, and honeymoon to Lake of the Ozarks. I had a lot of fun making this video. It has helped me to get to know my parents better, and see them as human beings. It has indulged my interest in mid 20th century culture. I had a blast playing detective and identifying locations, make of car, etc. I've identified as many people as possible without revealing names, out of privacy. There are a few folks in the wedding I can not identify. If anyone knows the bride's maids, and the groom's man with the glasses, please contact us. We'd love to know who they are.
