#farming #JohnDeere #OldTractors #FarmStories #femalefarmer #womeninagriculture #herfarmlife #johndeere4995 A broken John Deere 4995 at a Kansas farm auction becomes the center of an unbelievable challenge: mow 100 acres by sunset, and take the Deere home! When a 30-year-old woman is publicly mocked for believing she can fix the machine, nobody expects her to prove everyone wrong. But by dusk, the biggest surprise isn't the harvest. It's the owner's longtime foreman walking away after 18 years. At a crowded farm equipment auction, Maggie Dawson faces a humiliating challenge from arrogant farm owner Wade Hensley: repair his failing John Deere 4995 windrower and cut 100 acres of alfalfa before sunset. While experienced mechanics suspect an expensive hydraulic failure, Maggie discovers a hidden electrical problem that could bring the powerful John Deere back to life. With the clock ticking, she battles worn cutting blades, heavy alfalfa, dangerous soft ground, and mounting pressure to complete the hay harvest before the deadline. But as foreman Ray Collins watches Maggie's determination, mechanical skills, and respect for doing the job right, he begins questioning the man he has worked for over nearly two decades. What happens at sunset changes more than the ownership of a John Deere tractor-sized farm machine. It becomes a powerful story about honest work, earned respect, standing up for what's right, and finding the courage to start over. 🚜 *Watch until the end* to discover how Maggie completes the impossible challenge and why Wade loses something even more valuable than his John Deere 4995. 💬 *What would you have done in Ray's position?* After 18 years of loyalty, would you have stayed with Wade or handed back your keys?
