Bridgewater canal burst

Not so machinery related, but interesting none the less, I visited the site in Cheshire where the Bridgewater canal burst on the first of January 2025. After a prolonged period of rain in December the earth banks holding the canal gave way, and the result can be seen here. #farming #agriculture #crops #farmequipment #floods #canalburst #floodedland #bridgewatercanal #colapsedwaterway #canal #barges #farmland
