SURPRISE!! - Unexpected Find at the Auction

The horse market often goes down going into winter. Bigger operations offloading horses before they have to feed them through the winter. These sales end up big and horses become inexpensive… but this sale was even bigger. 600 horses sold loose in one day. That means no information on them as they get run through the sale barn. It can be hard to watch, and not having the ability to save many is heartbreaking, but I always try my best to pick up what I can. There was also another 600 horses sold in the catalog sale where they’re rode or led through with descriptions of each horse. This sale took 3 days, 1200 horses sold, we went for the entire loose sale and the last day of the catalog horses. Enjoy a short glimpse into one of these sales and see if we picked anything up!
