Welfare Beyond Politics: CM Revanth Reddy Highlights 1,000 Days of Telangana Praja Palana | Nakrekal

The People's government is working with the objective of public welfare beyond political considerations, said Hon'ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy. He said the government is giving priority to the welfare of farmers, women, youth and the poor while implementing welfare and development programmes aimed at improving people’s quality of life. During the 1,000 days of Praja Palana, several initiatives including farm loan waivers, Rythu Bharosa, paddy procurement, bonus for fine variety paddy and free power have been implemented. The government, he said, has strengthened and expanded schemes implemented by the previous government instead of discontinuing them. Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy inaugurated the newly constructed 100-bed Area Hospital built at a cost of ₹32 crore in Nakrekal, Nalgonda district. He also inaugurated several development works and laid foundation stones for various other projects. PCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, Ministers Uttam Kumar Reddy, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and Adluri Laxman, Government Whip Vemula Veeresham, Beerla Ilaiah, along with MLAs and MLCs from the erstwhile Nalgonda district, participated in the programme. The government is taking special measures for the economic empowerment of women, the Chief Minister said. Under the Mahalakshmi scheme, free bus travel has been provided to women, with the government paying ₹11,000 crore to RTC. Women’s groups are being encouraged to establish solar power plants and petrol bunks, while initiatives such as Indira Mahila Shakti stalls, Amma Adarsha Schools and school uniform stitching have also been entrusted to them. The government is working towards making one crore women millionaires by 2034, he said. The government is also focused on creating employment opportunities for youth and strengthening welfare measures for the poor, the Chief Minister said. He said 72,000 jobs have been provided in two years, while fine rice is being supplied to 3.48 crore people through 1.06 crore ration cards. Free power is being provided to 50 lakh households and Aarogyasri coverage has been enhanced to ₹10 lakh.
