Hilleberg Akto Review | Are Hilleberg Tents Worth the Money? In this video, I take the legendary Hilleberg Akto out onto Dartmoor for my first experience camping with a Hilleberg tent. Hilleberg has a reputation for producing some of the best tents in the world—and after spending time with the Akto, it became pretty clear why they have earned that reputation. The Akto is a premium solo tent designed for serious outdoor use, but there is no getting away from the price. Hilleberg tents aren’t cheap, which raises an important question: Are they really worth the money? In this video, I share my experience of using the Hilleberg Akto on Dartmoor, my first impressions of the brand, and whether I think investing in a premium tent makes sense. One thing I strongly believe, though, is that money shouldn’t be a barrier to getting outdoors. You don’t need the most expensive gear to experience the benefits of camping, adventure and spending time in nature.
