Rerouted trains at "old" Örebro Södra station - spring 2026

Filmed at Örebro Central station and Örebre Södra, on the 6th and 7th of September 2025. The video contains the trains X2000 (X2, X2K, X2U, X2C), X74, X55, X53, X51, X40, ER1, Rc6, Rc4, Rc3, Rd2, Rc2, Re, engine 243, engine 193, engine 187 and Y1. The trains were in service as SJ High-speed train (SJ X2000, SJ 3000), SJ InterCity, VR High-speed train, Tågab passenger service, SJ Regional train, Tåg i Bergslagen (TiB), Mälartåg, Green Cargo Freight train, Hector Rail freight train, Tågab freight train and ProTrain service train. To increase safety at Örebro Södra station, the middle platform will be closed in June 2026, once the new platform on the north side, which you can see being completed in the video, is finished. At the same time, the level crossing will also be closed. During the summer, the middle platform will also be demolished. Because of this, we wanted to film at the station one last time before it is modernized, and what better occasion than during a weekend with rerouted trains? The diversions were due to track work in Katrineholm during the weekend.
