Director of Broadcasting & Media Relations for Hill City Howlers, Jason Prill (S4, Ep. 153)

In this episode of the Unscripted for Christ Podcast, I had a great conversation with Director of Broadcasting & Media Relations for Hill City Howlers & Studio Host/Producer for the Liberty Flames Sports Network, Jason Prill. Jason shares his testimony, athletic experiences, and the story of how he overcame a speech impediment at a young age that could have easily discouraged him from pursuing a career in sports broadcasting. He discusses how God helped him overcome those challenges and ultimately opened doors for him to use his voice and passion for sports to glorify Christ. Jason also shares his experiences serving as a public-address announcer and play-by-play announcer with Liberty University Athletics, including how his broadcasting opportunities developed throughout his career. Additionally, he discusses how he got the opportunity to join the Hill City Howlers, formerly known as the Lynchburg Hillcats, the Single-A affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians, and what his role with the organization looks like currently. Tune in for an inspiring conversation about faith, athletics, sports broadcasting, and using the platform God has given you to impact others for Christ. Don’t miss this inspiring conversation!
