Black Knight 2000 - Main theme (PC-8801 cover)

I've forgotten which chip comes with the PC-88, but it's that one. Now with samples! LOL I figure most of the songs I'd pick are pretty niche (at least to whoever is considered my audience,) but pinball is a huge hobby of mine, so I want to talk about this one more. Black Knight is a 1980 pinball machine by Williams. Aside from generally being a huge hit (selling 13,705 units + 600 special edition units*!) it also introduced a feature known as magna-save, extra buttons on the side allow you to save the ball from draining into the outlane (going down the sides). It also was an early talking pinball machine, releasing only a year after Gorgar (the first talking pinball machine.) The success of this machine lead to Williams deciding to make a sequel in 1989, known as Black Knight 2000 (about 63 machines later.) It didn't sell nearly as well (only about 5,700 machines sold,) but everyone who's heard of this machine remembers the music. Stern would later release its own sequel called Black Knight Sword of Rage in 2019, which I don't care about because it's Stern. Steve Ritchie voices the knight in both versions of the game, but the version sampled here is from the original.
