Sailing Alone from Azores Portugal to England | STORM

Sailing from the island of Corvo in the Azores (Portugal) to Hamble, on the south coast of England on a SHE 31 built in 1968. We're Dan and Meraid and together, after spending 2 months sailing around the 9 islands in the Archipelago, part of a year long sailing trip where we met, we set sail for England and a new life together. Most of our trip was documented on the blog www.farawayvisions.com UPDATE In 2020, we finally made the decision to become Portuguese residents and bought our first property together in central Portugal. We’re documenting our story of restoring the abandoned land and eventually the beautiful stone house.
