Multidisciplinary Panel Discussion at Gaza Breast Cancer Conference: Challenges & Comitements. 2022

The First Annual Multidisciplinary Breast Cancer Conference (Oct 7th-11th 2022) closed off with a powerful panel discussion amongst healthcare stakeholders in breast cancer care in the Gaza Strip. Dr.Rola Shaheen (Conference President), moderated the session. She asked panelists two things: 1- List main challenges and needs of their sector 2- List a commitment for another sector in Breast Cancer Care. The final session started by a short talk on Cancer Registry in Palestine-by Dr.Yehia Abdein followed by the panel discussion and ended with a quick updates on palliative care in Gaza. Stakeholders included The Turkish Palestinian Friendship Cancer Center leadership, UNRWA, WHO, Oncology, Surgery, Radiology, Pathology, Palliative Care, Advocacy & survivorship.
