Productive Day at Home 🌿 | Grocery Shopping, Meal Prep, Organizing & Financial Freedom Started my morning with a warm cup of Kola Kanda, kindly given to us by our Eha Gedara Aunty. ❤️ Then I made breakfast and got started with my usual household work. It was such a sunny day, which made me so happy because I finally had the perfect weather to sun-dry all our clothes, especially the bedsheets. There is something so satisfying about freshly washed and sun-dried bedsheets! ☀️ For lunch, we enjoyed some delicious Alponsu mangoes, followed by a refreshing iced coffee in the evening. 🥭☕ Later, we headed to Juice Gedara and had some fresh fruit juice with no added sugar. After that, we went to Food City for our monthly groceries, along with eggs, fish and chicken for the next two weeks. Once we came home, I arranged and stored everything in storage boxes. I also washed all the vegetables, dried them properly, and stored them in containers in the fridge. I genuinely love organizing things, so this part of grocery shopping is surprisingly relaxing for me. Having everything clean, prepared, and organized makes life so much easier. For dinner, I made an easy cheesy spaghetti. 🍝 Later that night, I watched one of my favourite YouTube channels, MJ Money 101. This channel has been a big part of our financial journey. Around four years ago, I started learning about managing money, handling finances better, and getting out of loans through the valuable content shared by this channel. It helped us understand how to manage our finances without constantly feeling stressed, and gave us a sense of mental freedom. ❤️ After a long but peaceful day, I finally went to sleep with a happy heart.
