Which Cardel home at SeaFlower is actually the best fit—and what will it realistically cost after the homesite, structural options, design-center upgrades and pool?
I toured every Cardel Homes model at SeaFlower in Bradenton, Florida, to compare what approximately $700K to $1.2M gets you, including the Daybreak, Bali, Palma and Coral.
In this complete tour, I break down:
• Base pricing versus realistic finished pricing
• 50-foot versus 60-foot homesites
• Front-entry versus rear-entry garages
• Which layouts provide the most backyard and pool space
• The Bali’s optional apartment above the garage
• The Palma’s intergenerational-suite option
• Structural and design-center upgrades
• What is standard, what is optional and what the model homes may actually cost as shown
CARDEL MODELS FEATURED:
DAYBREAK
60-foot homesite with a rear-entry garage. The Daybreak starts around $729,990 before the homesite and upgrades. With a premium lot, structural and design selections, and a pool, a home similar to the model could approach approximately $1.2 million.
BALI
A roughly 2,200-square-foot home on a 50-foot rear-garage homesite. Its biggest differentiator is the optional full apartment above the garage, complete with a kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom, walk-in closet and laundry. The ADU option may add approximately $150,000–$200,000.
PALMA
A roughly 2,600-square-foot front-garage home on a 60-foot homesite with a full three-car garage. This is one of the best Cardel options for buyers prioritizing a traditional backyard, large pool and covered outdoor-living space. Depending on the homesite and options, I would budget approximately $1 million–$1.2 million.
CORAL
A roughly 2,200-square-foot front-garage home on a 50-foot homesite. This provides a more traditional layout and one of the most approachable ways to purchase a Cardel home at SeaFlower, with a realistic finished budget potentially falling somewhere in the $700Ks depending on the lot and selections.
