The Beauty of Brookside Gardens

Brookside Gardens is a beautiful public display garden in Wheaton, Maryland containing 32 acres of cultivated gardens including a rose garden, a children’s garden, a Japanese-style garden, and a truly remarkable butterfly garden, which is presented as “the butterfly experience”. Within the garden’s grounds you also find a conservatory with tropical plants, thoughtful art pieces blending nature with the human experience, a labyrinth, and a solemn memorial to the victims of the 2002 D.C. snipper. It is impossible to convey how lovely Brookside Gardens is in one video, as different plants and trees bloom at different times of the year, so there is something different to admire every month. Even during winter, the garden puts on a spectacular light show, which I will cover in another video in the future.
