Filmed on Friday, November 6, as temperatures noticeably dropped, bringing the crisp, cool chill of early winter, the city's grandest retail landmarks—Lotte and Shinsegae Department Stores—have fully unveiled their breathtaking Christmas decorations, towering trees, and world-famous media facades. Our walk begins at 5:00 PM right opposite Gyeongbokgung Palace at Gwanghwamun Square. Walking through Jongno and Cheonggye Plaza under a deepening twilight sky, we cross Euljiro toward the grand avenues of Myeongdong. Passing the dazzling golden lights, giant Christmas tree, and animated facade of Lotte Department Store, we observe evening commuters briskly heading home in the cold, while the bustling underground shopping paths overflow with vibrant rush-hour energy. The peak highlight of tonight's walk brings us before Shinsegae Department Store's main branch to witness the grand public premiere of this year's Christmas media facade—illuminating the historic boulevard with heartwarming holiday scenes. From there, we weave through Myeongdong's lively main alleys, taking in the authentic winter vibes and bustling food stalls, before concluding our evening journey at City Hall Station.
