Collegiate High Kick Championship 2014 - Michigan State University Pompon

On Sunday, November 9th, 2014, the Michigan State University Pompon Team competed at Mid American Collegiate High Kick Championships, earning third place. This year, the team honored their University, Michigan State alumni and Spartans everywhere with an epic Spartan-inspired warrior routine, "Spartan Strong," complete with shields and helmets for battle! The team scored 293.5 points out of a possible 330 and challenged worthy competitors from Grand Valley State University, Saginaw Valley State University, Atomic Pompon (Metro Detroit), and the University of Michigan. MSU Pompon excelled in judged categories including appearance, formations / transitions, choreography, use of music, team unity and precision, execution / form, height of kicks, and showmanship.
