Special Navaratri Offering - Sri Vagdevi Stava (with Lyrics and Meaning) Sringeri Sri Sharadamba

Sri Vagdevi Stava, a composition of the 33rd Jagadguru Sri Sri Sacchidananda Shivabhinava Nrisimha Bharati Mahaswamiji, is a sacred hymn extolling Jaganmata Sri Sharadamba of Sringeri as the bestower of eloquence, keen intellect and wisdom. The Stava adores Her as the compassionate Mother who empowers those who bow to Her to offer clear and fitting answers even to the most difficult questions in assemblies of the learned. Her radiant lotus hands bear the gesture of exposition, a rosary, a water-pot and sacred writing. An ocean of mercy, She graciously bestows mastery of poetry and the Shastras, even upon those bereft of speech. Revered by great sages, Sri Vagdevi dispels the darkness of ignorance like a succession of radiant suns. Each verse culminates in a heartfelt prayer to the Divine Mother dwelling at Sringeri to graciously fulfil the devotee’s cherished wishes. Presented with on-screen lyrics and meaning, this divine Stava inspires devotion and surrender at the Lotus Feet of Jaganmata Sri Sharadamba. Listen, chant and seek Her grace. May Sri Vagdevi dispel ignorance, illuminate our intellect and bless all with wisdom, eloquence and unwavering devotion. 🔔 Subscribe for more traditional Sanskrit stotras and lyrical videos. © All rights reserved.
