Backpacking the Pictured Rocks Lakeshore Trail on the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in August 2020

In August 2020, I backpacked the 42.4-mile Pictured Rocks Lakeshore Trail located on the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. This was my first multi-night backpacking trip ever! We completed the hike over 2.5 days and encountered a lot of wind and rain, but also a lot of beautiful views of Lake Superior.
