How is it taken me this long to do an theme from the vast and amazing X-MEN series video games? This week, we're taking on Children of the Atom's DANGER ROOM theme aka the theme of Cyclops! This theme even originally is already such a metal banger. It has a super retro vibe to it and it's clearly designed with shredding in mind. The backing rhythm on the drums and bass is super driving as well! For my arrangement, I really wanted to switch it up a bit but in a way that wouldn't take away from the original. With themes like this where it's already super metal, I find that it's SUPER inviting and easy to slide in some original licks and riffs in there and the theme always seems to maintain the vibe of the original. I had so much fun with this really just doing my own thing and playing these awesome melodies. Overall I had such a blast putting this amazing theme's arrangement together and I hope you guys enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed making it.
