Figs are Slow to Ripen this Season | White Madeira #1 Tasting

I started growing figs in 2017 in my urban orchard backyard West of Phoenix, Arizona (AZ). We see triple digits for 4-5 months of the year and low humidity but are blessed to be able to grow figs over a long growing season. This has been an unusually cool spring and the fig trees have felt it. I give an update on the main crop and provide a tasting of the 1st White Madeira #1 fig of my young container plant rooted last year.
