Lowri and Stephen’s Bredenbury Court Barns wedding brought four years of long-distance love full circle, surrounded by 75 friends and family. 💍 They first met at a friend’s birthday party in 2015, before their first date in 2017. Their relationship began across Liverpool and Southampton, followed by four years of long-distance life and nine months apart during Covid. In 2021, they settled together in Cardiff. Then, on 6 June 2024, Stephen proposed in Lisbon, exactly two years before their chosen wedding date. 🇵🇹 Even the proposal had a secret. For four months, Stephen hid “Will you marry me?” in the first letters of 21 messages, completely unnoticed by Lowri. ❤️ Their wedding day was relaxed, fun and unmistakably personal. After reuniting at the end of the aisle in The Orangery, they enjoyed drinks outside before heading into Bredenbury Court Barns for a lively wedding breakfast, complete with a surprise table quiz. The speeches brought plenty of laughter, while cake cutting led into their first dance and a special dad-and-daughter dance later that evening. A commemorative seat also honoured a much-loved friend who could not be there. Above everything, Lowri and Stephen wanted to remember laughing together, enjoying their guests and watching their nephews Connor and Charlie have fun.
