Lime Rock

Not coming up in the bluegrass tradition, I didn't hear this lovely classic until Steve Morse and Mark O'Connor included it as a guitar/fiddle duet in their set on the Dregs' "Industry Standard" tour at the Old Waldorf in San Francisco. It made me run out and source earlier traditional versions of it. I bought the album, "Lady's Fancy" by flatpicking legend, Dan Crary. and set out learning it. I'm playing along to the Dan Crary record here. This one's for my musical brother-from-another-mother, original Dixie Grit member, Frank Brittingham. Hee to the Haw!
