The Egyptian forward started at Wadi Degla before moving to Wolfsburg at just 18, where he spent years fighting for opportunities and going out on loan to St. Pauli and Stuttgart. Those loan spells helped him develop into a more complete attacker, but it wasn't until he joined Eintracht Frankfurt that everything finally clicked. His 23/24 campaign produced 17 goals and 6 assists, before he took another massive leap the following season, becoming one of the most dangerous attacking players in the Bundesliga. His ability to combine explosive acceleration, intelligent movement, technical quality and ruthless finishing eventually convinced Manchester City to spend around £59 million on him. Now both players find themselves at Tottenham, arriving with completely different profiles but potentially solving some of the same problems. Savinho gives Spurs something they have desperately lacked: a genuine old-school winger who can stay wide, isolate defenders and consistently create something from nothing. Marmoush, meanwhile, brings the pace, movement and finishing ability Tottenham have needed in the final third. Yet both players have something to prove after struggling to establish themselves as undisputed starters at Manchester City. For Savinho, this could be the opportunity to become the superstar many expected him to be. For Marmoush, it could be the chance to finally play in a system built around his strengths. Tottenham have spent years searching for attackers who can actually change games, and now they have brought in two players capable of doing exactly that.
