In 2025, Time Machine opened ‪@FantasyIslandofficial‬ in Skegness. It is a refurbished Huss Magic and was originally created in 1993 with the platforms being reused from a Schwarzkopf Monster 3 sadly destroyed in a fire called Rock ‘n Roll. It travelled till 2003, then it was sold to Ludewigt who operated the attraction until 2009 at Oldenburg Kramermarkt. It was then in storage till 2014 when Mellors group bought it and it operated at Global Village Dubai, Nottingham goose fair and Fantasy Island. Then in 2022, the system was upgraded and in 2024, the ride was closed and reopened after a refurbishment in 2025 as Time Machine. The theming references Fantasy Island and their history with year numbers and as it opened on their 30th anniversary year fitting with the Time Travelling steampunk aesthetic. Overall, this flat ride is high on my uk list with good theming, lighting, tunes, snappy spinning and good cycle length. We were kindly gifted tickets to the Press Event of Time Machine and provided with the ability to record on ride.
