Eugenia de Montijo intervenes in the courtship of Alfonso and Victoria Eugenie

Former Empress Eugenia de Montijo schemes to make Ena known to the people of Spain so they will be more open to her being their future queen. It is decided that Ena shall be known by her other name: Victoria Eugenie. Alfonso's mother, queen Maria Christina, is skeptical and demands to know more about Ena. Alfonso XIII keeps writing love letters to Ena.
