Suneel Darshan Spills Truth on Akshay-Priyanka, Karisma-Abhishek & Claims Animal Is a Copy |Andaaz 2

In a fiery interview with Bollywood Bubble, veteran filmmaker-producer Suneel Darshan reveals what went wrong in his association with Akshay Kumar, to his upcoming films with newcomers, 'Andaaz 2'. Suneel throws light on how Akshay begged him for work back in the 90s, giving him a chance in 1999's 'Jaanwar' and belting out 7 films in 7 years starring Khiladi Kumar! Suneel explains how other directors treated Akshay poorly back in the day, how success transformed the now superstar, and how they haven't been in touch for over 20 years. The director, in conversation with host Ankita Bhalla, shares how he zeroed in on Priyanka Chopra for 2003's 'Andaaz', predicting her success over co-star Lara Dutta and guiding her to pick 'Aitraaz' negative role. Suneel further throws light on what went wrong with Akshay, his alleged relationship mess with Priyanka Chopra, and turbulence in Khiladi Kumar's personal life. The filmmaker also speaks at length about his association with Kapoor sisters - Karisma and Kareena; what happened between Karisma & Abhishek Bachchan, their to-be marriage, and the actresses' mother Babita Kapoor. Suneel takes a dig at Sunny Deol's unprofessionalism and court case, his association with Bobby Deol, and the highs & lows of working with Juhi Chawla. Suneel narrates when Amitabh Bachchan said sorry to him, claims Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal' being a copy of one of his films, and why the OG cast of Andaaz ain't supporting the film's sequel... #suneeldarshan #bollywoodbubble 2:22 - 2003's Andaaz 2:36 - Andaaz 2 New Cast 6:59 - Priyanka Chopra's First Film 9:25 - Priyanka's resemblance to Rekha 10:16 - Lara Dutta vs Priyanka Chopra 12:09 - Akshay Kumar's 13-14 Flops 12:30 - Sunny Deol, Ajay Devgn 13:04 - Akshay's work ethics 14:52 - Akshay's 7 films in 7 years 15:27 - Makers called Akshay 'kachra' 16:18 - Akshay pleaded for work 17:20 - Haven't met Akshay in 20 years 19:55 - Akshay-Priyanka shot Barsaat 20:13 - Trouble in Akshay's personal life 20:56 - NOT replacing Priyanka 21:32 - Katrina-Bipasha in Barsaat! 22:08 - Kapoor sisters 22:29 - Cast Babita Kapoor with Lolo-Bebo 23:26 - Karisma-Abhishek Engagement 25:20 - Sunny Deol Mess 25:47 - Working with Bobby Deol 27:32 - No media support 28:14 - Priyanka's career best performance 28:46 - Film Industry ain't bad 30:11 - Bebo(Kareena) vs Priyanka 34:57 - Troubles with Juhi Chawla 38:05 - Sooraj Barjatya-Raj Kapoor Comparison 39:01 - Working with Salman Khan 40:56 - Music in Reels Time 41:59 - Saiyaara Success, Aditya Chopra 47:21 - Music with Nadeem-Shravan 50:57 - Amitabh Bachchan apologised 52:58 - Son Shiv Darshan's Flops 54:12 - Family Legacy 57:26 - Mahesh Bhatt's Family Connection 59:12 - Ranbir's Animal is copied 1:03:23 - No support from Andaaz cast for Andaaz 2 Watch the conversation below: Check out the video to know more.
