Here is what went into the improvement: ✅ Power Query: Cleaned and transformed observation data, eliminating null values and improving data quality. ✅ Excel Tables: Loaded the cleaned dataset into structured Excel tables for more reliable data management. ✅ Pivot Tables & Charts: Reconnected existing Pivot Tables and charts to the new cleaned data source to maintain consistent and accurate analysis. ✅ Dashboard Redesign: Improved the dashboard layout, visual presentation and overall reporting experience. ✅ PowerPoint Wireframing: Developed a dashboard wireframe in PowerPoint to ensure the Excel dashboard fits perfectly into a presentation slide, making it easier to share safety performance insights with top management. The ultimate goal is to move beyond simply tracking observations and start using observation data to identify recurring unsafe conditions, behavioural patterns, high-risk areas and opportunities for proactive safety interventions.
