Why does this runway always throw a CURVEBALL?

This runway always catches me out. Today I flew my Bushbaby to a dirt strip in South Africa that never quite feels the same twice. The wind was up, the approach felt strange again, and what should have been a straightforward landing turned into a proper crosswind bush flying reminder. This is the kind of flying I love, real backcountry-style aviation, tailwheel flying, off-airport strips, and learning to read a runway properly when the picture doesn’t quite look right.
