I thought there should be some fair balance on the claims regarding the Piper Tomahawk's stalls and the airplanes tendency to rip into a stall. In this video, I give a brief commentary on the Tomahawk's design and then demonstrate power-on, power-off and accelerated stalls to reveal the aircraft's stall behavior. I say AOA a bit and didn't define it for the non-pilots, AOA is angle of attack. Chapters are available to select a particular section.

Mike is an Instrument Rated Private Pilot who started his aviation experience at Falcon Field in Mesa, AZ in 1990. After a break from flying while attending the US Naval Academy, serving in the US Army (yes there’s a story there too), transitioning to the civilian work force and raising a family, renewed his love of aviation in the Philadelphia area and received his instrument rating in 2007. He belongs to a flying club out of Northeast Philadelphia Airport (KPNE) and recently became an airplane owner with a Piper Tomahawk based out of Doylestown, PA (KDYL).
