A flyover was constructed to relieve traffic congestion in Delhi. However, the Barapullah Phase-3 flyover has now become a major cause of traffic jams. Spanning approximately 9 kilometers, this flyover was built to provide a signal-free link between Mayur Vihar Phase-1 and AIIMS. Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated it on September 29, yet within just a week of the inauguration, severe traffic jams have begun to plague this supposedly signal-free flyover.
