Installing a short shifter on the MK2 - MK2 Golf, Jetta, Corrado, MK1, MK3

A short shifter install can be done in 5 minutes and costs only about €30. It's a mod well worth doing! This short shifter can be installed on any vehicle with an 020 gearbox: VW Golf MK2 and MK3, Jetta, Corrado and maybe MK1, I'm not sure about the MK1 as there's also a different short shifter available specifically for MK1s and the Scirocco, but that's also for the 020 gearbox so I don't know what's different about it besides the price.
