Her academic foundation includes an LL.M. in Constitutional Law from Uttaranchal University, a second LL.M. in Intellectual Property Rights from National Law University Bengaluru, and a B.A. LL.B. from Uttaranchal University. She has further strengthened her legal expertise through a Diploma in Insolvency and Bankruptcy Law and is presently engaged in Post-Doctoral Research at the University of Goa. Dr. Gahlawat's core specializations lie in Constitutional Law and Administrative Law, complemented by substantive expertise in Intellectual Property Rights and Constitutionalism. She is the author of a scholarly work on Constitutionalism and Constitutionalizing and has published over fifteen research papers in reputed UGC-CARE listed and Scopus-indexed journals. Her academic career spans significant faculty engagements at ICFAI University Dehradun, ICFAI University Himachal Pradesh, Himgiri University, and IMS University, where she contributed meaningfully to teaching, curriculum design, research mentoring, and holistic student development.
