We climbed Mount Fuji in July 2026, expecting the classic sunrise summit experience. Instead, we got wind, rain, clouds, low visibility, a night summit push, and a very long descent. This is the full Mount Fuji climb — from Singapore to Tokyo, gear prep at Montbell, Fuji Mountain Guides, the mountain hut, the 2am summit push, and the descent back through the forest. It was not the clean Fuji story I imagined. But for me, it was still worth it. Along the way, we dealt with bad weather, altitude, tired legs, mountain hut life, and the decision not to split up for the crater walk. This video is less about conquering Mount Fuji, and more about going through the climb we actually got. Filmed on Mount Fuji, Japan — July 2026.
