🛗 REM elevator at Central Station in Montreal - the one that keeps having mechanical difficulties

Here is the elevator for the REM at Central Station / Gare Centrale in Montreal, Canada. This is an elevator that has broken down numerous times since the REM opened weeks ago. As you can hear, it is a hydraulic elevator. Even though it is modern by definition, it sometimes feels a bit older than it is. One interesting feature I like is the fact that you can see the train tracks through the glass! This video was filmed on the evening of Thursday, August 31, 2023.
