Watercolor Layers & Mark Making: Try This Abstract Painting Idea

In this tutorial, I’m creating two abstract watercolor pieces using a dreamy palette of purple, pink, and ochre inspired by The Color Cube. I start with soft watercolor washes, then add layers of interest with mark-making, a bit of stencil work, and some finishing touches in gold and white. It’s a relaxed, playful process where I explore color and texture without overthinking.
