Even the Sparrow Found a Home Near the Altar | Rest for the Weary and Small

The psalmist’s image of the sparrow near the altar becomes a confession here: the holiness of God is not a place where the small are driven away. Christ has made a way, and what His kindness welcomes near need not fear the light. Let your wings grow still. You are held within this place.
