Boat trip from Wroxham to Salhouse Broad & back #boat #trip #river #pike #tour #wroxham #norfolk Hi everyone welcome back to my channel, In today’s video, I have a trip in a day boat from Wroxham  to Salhouse Broad and  back again . You can see which properties have been affected by the flooding and some are still flooded in the gardens. Lots of wonderful holiday properties line each side of the river. To be lucky enough to own one of these must be amazing. The sun is shining, but it is windy, so this causes issues with filming. We go across a Wroxham Broad, where during World War II , Houseboats, and old wherries were moored across the broad to prevent sea planes landing. Salhouse Broad was created by medieval sand and gravel, digging, unlike the other Broads, which were created by peat digging. It is also a private Broad. A huge thank you to David And Vicky for inviting me over to their Holiday property and then for the trip along the river in the day boat. They have had a holiday, on the Norfolk Broads every year for the last 50 years. Their knowledge of boat yards, boats and everything Norfolk Broads related is amazing.
