FATHER, FORGIVE THEM | Neville Goddard — Original Lecture

“Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.” — Luke 23:34 What is the deeper mystical meaning behind these powerful words of Jesus Christ? In the teachings of Neville Goddard, Scripture is more than a historical account. It is a revelation of the mysteries of human consciousness, imagination, and the divine presence dwelling within us. “Father, Forgive Them” invites us to explore forgiveness beyond its conventional meaning and contemplate the relationship between our inner world and the reality we experience. Neville Goddard taught that imagination is the creative power of God within humanity, and that spiritual awakening begins with recognizing our true divine nature. Forgiveness becomes an invitation to release old states of consciousness, transcend judgment, and awaken to a deeper understanding of ourselves and others.
