Raja Tridiv Roy (14 May 1933 – 17 September 2012) was a figure of noble lineage, serving as the Raja of the Chakma Tribes in the Chittagong Hill Tracts of East Pakistan. He relinquished all his possessions, including his historic royal domain and familial ties, in a resolute commitment to the nation of Pakistan, to which he had sworn his allegiance. Born in 1933 in Rajbari, located in the Rangamati district of the Chittagong Hill Tracts, he ascended to the position of hereditary Chakma Raja in 1953. He never returned to his home and family, choosing instead to embrace his identity as a proud Pakistani, primarily residing in his adopted city of Islamabad. He became a well-known figure, maintaining an open house in Islamabad and gaining popularity within the local diplomatic and social circles.
