Early goose season is HERE! We hit Wisconsin public land before sunrise hoping to get on some Canada geese. No private fields, no guarantees—just a morning in the marsh trying to make it happen! In this video, we’re heading out for an early-season public land goose hunt in Wisconsin. We packed up the gear, walked into the marsh in the dark, found a spot, and waited to see if the geese would cooperate. Public-land hunting is always unpredictable. You never know where the birds are going to fly, how much pressure there will be, or whether the spot you picked is actually going to pay off. That’s what makes these hunts so much fun. Once daylight started breaking, we finally began seeing birds moving around the marsh. From there, it was all about staying hidden, being patient, and hoping we could get some Canada geese close enough to make something happen.
