How Star Trek Can FINALLY Move Forward After The Kurtzman Era

Star Trek is about to reach a crossroads. With Strange New Worlds and Starfleet Academy approaching the end of their runs, what should the franchise actually do next? My answer is simple: MOVE FORWARD! No more prequels. No more endlessly circling the same characters, ships and moments from Trek history. Give us the 25th century, a brand-new crew, a new exploration-focused starship, unexplored regions of space and a mission that actually involves… exploring strange new worlds. In this video, I pitch my ideal next Star Trek series — including a sleek new hero ship inspired by the Enterprise-E, Titan and Akira, a detachable warp-capable secondary craft, experimental technology, longer episodic seasons, genuinely alien enemies, deeper exploration of established species and a crew we can actually spend enough time with to care about. Oh, and obviously… THE CARPETS ARE COMING BACK! Because Star Trek doesn’t need another reboot. It needs a future!
