In Philippians 1:27–30, Paul gives the Philippian church his first direct instructions—and they’re incredibly relevant for us today: *live as citizens of heaven, stand together, and don’t be intimidated.* Fear has a way of quietly taking control. Fear of rejection. Fear of what people think. Fear of being embarrassed, canceled, misunderstood, or losing control. Before long, we can find ourselves making decision after decision based on fear instead of faith. But Paul reminds us that our security doesn’t come from the world around us. Our identity and security are found in Christ.
