Behind the Scenes in Live at Bats

Watch Brady Haddle work through a session in August live at bats with pitching coach Jimi Keating focused on getting Brady to throw his whole arsenal with intent. Brady is a 2028 from Elizabethtown Ky who has been up to 89. He has a 4 pitch mix after adding a splitter late this summer. At K-Zone we focus on actually being able to pitch, not just light up the radar gun. We do that work too, and you’ll hear several times “throw it hard” as that is an effective intent cue for Brady to stay on the attack and not be overly mechanically focused. We believe that Brady will be a Division 1 rotation arm someday (not what we’re shooting for year one) and he will need to know the why behind the usage of all 4 of his pitches depending on situation. We train pitchers and hitters as well as help good ball players get connected directly to college coaches. Our in person training takes place in Mt. Washington Ky and our guys come from all over to do this thing chasing the long term dream. #pitching #recruiting #baseball
