In this video, we explore the joint simulation of induction motor starting processes using ANSYS Simplorer-Maxwell 2D and MATLAB Simulink. We integrate the 2D finite element model of the motor in ANSYS with the impulse-phase control system for a thyristor voltage regulator in Simulink.
