Amish settlements in Wisconsin are expanding rapidly as families seek new land and independence away from traditional hubs. This video examines the quiet migration of these communities, moving beyond well-known regions like Lancaster County to establish roots in the Midwest. We document the specific challenges these families face, including rising property taxes and the search for a sanctuary that allows them to preserve their way of life. By looking at these farms, we can see how they balance their agricultural traditions with the realities of modern rural expansion. We also compare these new settlements to the historical norms found in Holmes County.
