In the tradition of Imamqoli Emami, Malā Zhīrī tells a story of autumn migration and longing. When autumn arrived, nomadic tribes would leave their summer pastures for warmer regions. Those who could not join the migration were left behind, mourning their separation from their people and kin. Beyond the story of migration, the piece evokes the universal experience of departure and loss — of those who leave, and those who remain with their longing. Autumn passes by. The road carries everyone away, leaving only their absence. A complete performance on the Laki tanbur. Music: Malā Zhīrī Musical tradition: Imamqoli Emami Performance: Pooriya Faraji
