Deep inside the beautiful mountains of Arunuthumalai in Salem district, Tamil Nadu, an elderly Thaatha and Paati are living a lonely life, far away from the modern world. In this village exploration, I visited their home and explored their unique lifestyle, traditional beliefs, and the challenges of living in a remote mountain area. What makes their life even more fascinating is their traditional practice of worshipping a snake anthill (பாம்பு புற்று) inside their house.
