Daemon Bride | Noah Tobari Combo Guide

A very brief combo guide on Noah's combo theory. The character is very freeform in what you can route into so it all comes down to spacing, positioning, bride meter, and all that jazz. As long as you have an understanding of his combo theory you can pretty much freestyle a lot of it. Noah is a mobile offensive character with some great pokes, low profiling attacks, decent defensive options and high mobility. He boasts a great Level 3 Super which can be used as a fullscreen punish. His zoning is very poor, only having an anti-zoning bride special move at best. His mixups are very committal with no standing overheads, require specific setups, conditioning, and a strong awareness of teching. His overall damage is quite low without the right starter and has character-specific issues to deal with. A - Light Attack B - Heavy Attack C - Bride Move D - Boost Boosting & d Attacks - dA / dB / dC dX refers to the dashing attack that you can input during your boosting state. For example 6D dB. Once you are dashing you have some projectile immunity and you are only locked into these attacks. dA is the only attack that you can special cancel from. For Noah, dA is mainly used as combo fodder to cancel into j412AB, dA into dC with the right spacing can be used to create a left/right reset on a grounded opponent. dB is mainly used as a combo ender. dC is mainly used for Oki, Pressure, and very specific combos. Okizeme, OTG & Teching 4C the opponent for not ground teching then you can setup a 6D dC jumpover jB for a left/right with the right spacing or 214C j5D j412A crossup. On immediate tech, you can go straight into 6D dC. 6C mash catches air tech out in corner? (needs testing). Air Throw can catch people air-teching out of your corner combos. Climax If you are in the final round, have less than 20% health, and have three stocks of Engagement Meter, pressing ABC will let you enter Climax. Damage and Force Meter gain is increased in this state. You can do your super without having a full bar in this state, and it will be enhanced. Doing so will end Climax. Noah is a boy.
