Saladin | How One Man United Muslims and Liberated Jerusalem

Discover the full story of Saladin, also known as Salah Al-Din Al-Ayyubi — the Muslim leader who united a divided region, defeated the Crusaders at the Battle of Hattin, and reclaimed Jerusalem in 1187. This historical documentary follows Saladin’s journey from his early life in Tikrit, to his rise in Egypt, the fall of the Fatimid Caliphate, the unification of Egypt and Syria, the road to Hattin, the liberation of Jerusalem, and his legendary confrontation with Richard the Lionheart during the Third Crusade. But Saladin’s story is not only about war. It is also about leadership, patience, strategy, political realism, faith, unity, and the building of power before victory. He did not begin by liberating Jerusalem. He began by uniting the road that led to it. Watch until the end to understand why Saladin became one of the most respected figures in both Islamic and Western historical memory.
